Sunday, September 15, 2002 12:25 PM	I arrived in Arkansas on August 15th. I was delayed getting to Northwest Arkansas, because I missed a connecting flight in Dallas. Not speaking English I could not understand the directions for my gate and flight number. My first host family were waiting for me at the airport, and I finally arrive at about 7:30 PM, after a long flight from Argentina. I was very tired but anxious to see where I would live and the new country. It was also my 17th birthday on August 15th. My host parents and youth exchange counselor had a birthday cake for me at my arrival at Holiday Island where I am staying. School has been very difficult because of my lack of English. I have asked my host parents to help me write this first message. Muchas gracias por todo!!! Julieta
