I Just changed host famliys for the first time... KInda late I

But everyone that I talk to say I speak very very well and are very happy that i can say the french R's. Haha. Believe it or not there are a lot who cant. The second night I was here I take a bath and get ready for bed and lay down in my bed and feel something damp on my body and so I get up and turn on the light and see this huggggeeee round wet spot on my sheets AND pillow AND the special Mogu pillow my mom sent me in the mail that IS NOT WASHABLE!!!!! MINA CA VA PAS LA TETE!!! Anyway. Its ok. I just close my door now. My host mom took me shopping in Deutchland a couple days after I

Well, I got here, exausted cause the long flight and my pain killers from my surgery, and I decided I would carry my bags even though I wasnt supposed to, cause I didnt want to wait and my flight was already 45 minutes late. So I get here and my wonderful host family was waiting for me, trying to look happy to see me cause their daughter just left before I got there. So we went to the car, luckly not a little death trap, and we went into paris!! We went to the Tour Eiffel and went inside. It was really cold but it was still great. So we drove home, about 350km to the NW towards Germany and it took about 3 hours or so. We got here and I just died on my bed! No really I tried to stay up as long as I could talking to them and just asking questions and stuff like that cause I didnt want to offend them. But I slept late! So 2 days later I went to Metz on the train to see Léa and her sister Zealie. Do you remember her? Well i am going to Metz again this Saturday to see them again. So after that I went to school on wednesday and was very nervous and scared but I got there and saw this girl and all she would say was Ca va, ça va and that means OK and so I was like hummmmm? So I kinda looked over and saw a class ring and was like BINGO she's American! her name is Bertina and she is from California and she is also an exchange student. We are really good friends but we try not to always be together so we can learn french. But I have a lot of friends here and I like it. I am starting to find out who I can really be friends with now though. Anyway, one of my friends asked me if i wanted to go to €-Disney so I was like sure so I went with the community of Macherin and it was really great. I went to Metz with my host fa mily to meet all the exchange students too and it was good. There are a lot of english speakers! So there are not a lot of activities this year but thats ok cause my family is taking me to Paris to see Notre Dame, Monmatre, and lots of other stuff in about 1 week and then for X-mas we are going to La côte d'Azure and for spring break we are going to go Skiing in the alps! So thats about it and i hope you liked the update. Will |
