Dear  Students, Counselors, and Host Families,

It is almost time for the annual D6110 YE  Return Training, Canoe, and Camping Trip.  The return training session is MANDATORY for all D6110 YE Inbound Students who are preparing to return home now at the end of their exchanges.  Students who arrived in January are welcome to attend the get-together, too.

Students-- Please make sure your host families know about this event!!
Counselors -- Please help your students to make arrangements to get to the carpool meeting places.

When and Where

Arrive:   Tuesday May 26 (by 2pm)
Depart:  Thursday May 28 (by 1130am)
Where:  Buffalo Point Cabins (14 miles south of Yellville, AR)

Costs
 Good news!!  There is no fee for students to attend this event.
 
What to Bring
  • Sleeping bag, bedroll, or mat,
  • Sunscreen (sunglasses and hats are optional)
  • bathing suit or swim clothes
  • river shoes (shoes that can get wet)
  • casual, comfortable clothes
  • toiletries (soap, shampoo, hairbrush, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)
  • cameras (optional)
  • music (bring along your favorite songs)
     
  • cell phones (to call host families to pick you up on the return trip)
     
DO NOT BRING
 You do NOT need your Rotary Blazers on this trip. Do not bring them.
 
Car Pool to Event
The Inbound Team is renting a 15-passenger van to travel to the event. Students can meet with Lee and Cherie at one of the below locations to ride to the event with the group. 

TULSA area students:  Meet Lee and Cherie on  May 26 between 830am -845am  at 3607 South New Haven, Tulsa OK.

Fort Smith, Fayetteville, and Bentonville students:   Meet Lee and Cherie on May 26 around 11am at the Springdale Holiday Inn (just of 412).

Eureka Springs student:  Contact Lee at 918-232-8155 to set up a meeting place and time.

 
Last Group Event
Students,  keep in mind this event is the last time that all the 2008-2009 Inbound Students from D6110 will be together. If there's anything you wanted to bring to the other students or photos you wanted to show the other students, this event is your last chance to be all together.
