Jay's Year in Italy

I am picking up Italian, it is rather frustrating to realize just how much time its going to take to effectively communicate in the language completely. Well, I really dont know how much time. but I guess i mean its frustrating that I can't communicate now. but i mean everyone is saying 3 months and ill be there. that seems SOO long from now. Im hoping 1.5 ;) but anyways. Oh. Ive experienced a side effect of the culture shock. that would be excessive amounts of sleep. but i refused to give in these past two days. I seem to be just fine when i just get busy and do something. but for instance, monday, on top of my 8-9 hours at night. i slept 3 hours after school! that was too much. so i decided to put a stop to it. haha. but thats all so far. no homesickness. no hostility, as i was reading often times happens. So im rather pleased so far. only things i need is the cord for my camera, and a way to learn italian faster.
